How I created The Legend of Lando for Star Wars Celebration 2020

At first I was thinking of creating a full poster illustration but once I started sketching I realized the idea would be perfect for a T-Shirt. I sketched out the initial idea during Live Drawing with Oktopolis on twitch  Watch the video above...

Behind the Scenes: Art-nouveau style Star Wars art featuring BB-8

"It was a very simple sketch, beautiful in its simplicity of a ball with this little dome on top." — special effects artist Neal Scanlan describing how BB-8's design was based on a sketch by The Force Awakens director J. J. Abrams Officially licensed Star Wars artwork BB-8 and BB-9E by Oktopolis: The Art of Brian Miller I remember standing in awe at Star Wars Celebration Anaheim in 2015 when BB-8 rolled out onstage during the panel for the upcoming Star Wars film, The Force Awakens.
